The “Mada” Shopping Center reconstruction project is developed, implemented, and financed by the real estate development and management company Baltisches Haus. The shopping center is operated by UAB Limada, a subsidiary of Baltisches Haus. The project’s architectural concept is designed and brought to life by the acclaimed studio Do Architects.
The vision of the reconstruction is to create a modern, vibrant, and community-focused destination in the Viršuliškės district – a place that unites shopping, services, gastronomy, and leisure. “Mada” will be transformed into more than just a shopping venue – it will become an open hub for meetings, events, and community life.
Features that define the new “Mada”:
-
A bright atrium with welcoming indoor lounge areas.
-
A publicly accessible rooftop terrace for relaxation and events.
-
Lush greenery and landscaped spaces that integrate seamlessly with the neighborhood.
-
Seamless pedestrian connections to Laisvės Avenue, Viršuliškių Street, and public transport stops.
-
Dining areas with restaurants and cafés featuring outdoor terraces.
-
Open spaces designed for community celebrations and local markets.
-
A clock tower – a landmark architectural element symbolizing the district’s heart.
-
Striking side stairs – more than just a way to the roof. A social space to pause, meet friends, enjoy conversations, or take in panoramic views.
The renewed “Mada” aspires to become the district’s local hub – a place where modern architecture, green spaces, and an urban atmosphere come together. It will offer not only convenient shopping but also a welcoming environment to meet, relax, and create a vibrant rhythm of community life
